"Smallcreep's Day" was recorded in 1979 while Genesis were going through a period of inactivity (Tony Banks also recorded his first solo album "A Curious Feeling"around the same time) and was released a month before Genesis released their XNUMXth studio album."Duke".

The album also included Anthony Phillips, Simon Phillips, Morris Pert and Noel McCalla. The long one title track it was inspired by Peter Currell Brown's novel of the same name, a surreal satire on modern industrial life.

The album does not currently appear on any streaming site (as does Rutherford's 1982 solo sequel "Acting Very Strange") and is The album is unlikely to appear on Spotify anytime soon, so don't miss this CD.
