Nine musicians to play and sing all the hits of the former Genesis leader and all in some way related to the figure of Phil Collins: - Carlo Leproni (keyboards): already in other formations of the "Genesis" area, he is absolutely the "director" of the band, with his proverbial sounds, sequences and vocal parts, which distinguish him - Pino Vecchioni (drums): impeccable professional, he never made a mystery of being inspired by Collins' drumming, also present in various Genesis-oriented bands - Carlo Bianchi (bass): the engine of the band, which drags with great confidence - Fabio Servilio (guitar): refined performer of the rhythms and riffs that characterize Collins' sound, he also emerges strongly in the solo parts - Roberto D'Amore (voice): always passionate about the whole Genesis / Gabriel / Collins production, he tries to convey at best what the great masters have given us. There will be the best known hits of the great artist, such as "In the Air Tonight", "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)", "One More Night", "Another Day in Paradise" and others. "

The Gabriel Knights are born one deal at a time. In the beginning, even before becoming "the knights of Gabriel", they play mixed covers with a formation of five elements. Then, Francesco, Federico and Maurizio, not happy to be simple Genesis fans, propose to focus only on the British prog group par excellence. Afterwards, the meticulous research of the original sounds and arrangements leads them to add a sixth element to complete the formation. A lot of passion, attention to detail and complicity born from friendship is what you feel when you hear them play. From 2010 to today those agreements have become a vast repertoire. With a new line-up they set off again determined to achieve the goal of their project: to reproduce live the faithful execution of the classic albums of Genesis of the Peter Gabriel era.

The Genesis Piano Project came to fruition when Buffalo-born pianist Angelo Di Loreto and Chicago-born pianist Adam Kromelow met as classmates at the Manhattan School of Music. When Adam introduced Angelo to the music of the British progressive-rock band Genesis, they came up with the idea to re-arrange their groundbreaking compositions to be performed on two pianos.
The vast compositions of Genesis have several song structures that switch effortlessly from haunting, whispered melodies to intense rock-outs. Hearing the arrangements of the Genesis Piano Project can at times sound like classical piano music, but at others can make audiences feel as if they are listening to a live rock band.
This project first captivated audiences, both Genesis fans and newcomers alike, performing at some of the best Steinway Piano showrooms and galleries in the United States. Their videos soon Attained international recognition to the two they have received 100,000 plus hits on YouTube.
In mid-2014, Giovanni Amighetti, a producer for Peter Gabriel's record label Real World Records, discovered the Genesis Piano Project online and offered to bring them to Europe for their first overseas tour. Since then, the duo has performed at such venues as Crossroads Live Cub in Rome, the historic Castello Ursino in Sicily, and the Cultural Center of Belem in Lisbon. The duo has developed a cult following in Europe and received much acclaim from the press. In 2015 the Genesis Piano Project released their first live EP entitled Live in Italy.

"What unites the members of Hi There! Is the love for the music and sounds of Peter Gabriel. Perhaps not everyone knows - or perhaps only superficially - this eclectic, charismatic and multifaceted artist, precursor of a music that has traced the way to an entire generation of artists of the 80s and 90s, who starting from prog (do you remember him until the mid-70s in Genesis?) then managed to merge, in the course of his rich artistic career, the pop art, World Music and R&B, in an innovative, cultured and never predictable way.
