Questa è una versione 1LP 180g Blue Vinyl con copertina e busta interna come per la pubblicazione originale in LP ma comunque con l’ordine di esecuzione preferito da Peter che vede In Your Eyes chiudere la track list.

Il 2 ottobre 1950 nasceva Michael John Cloete Crawford Rutherford. Ecco alcuni momenti della sua carriera (in ordine rigorosamente non cronologico).
Ha co-fondato la school band Anon con Anthony Phillips e Richard Macphail, nel 1965, dopo di che si sono divisi e hanno formato i Genesis nel 1967 con i compagni di Charterhouse, Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel e Chris Stewart. Rutherford non amava il suo periodo alla Charterhouse ed è stato espulso per reati minori:
Nel 1982 ha festeggiato il compleanno sul palco di Milton Keynes, UK, durante la reunion benefica in favore di Peter Gabriel (e il pubblico gli fa gli auguri cantando):
Caratteristiche sono state le sue chitarre doppiomanico.
Durante i primi tour dal vivo, Rutherford utilizzava spesso un doppio manico Rickenbacker costruito su misura con chitarra a 12 corde a corpo semi-vuoto e un basso a 4 corde (ora in mostra al Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum).
Per “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway” e la prima parte del “Trick of the Tail” tour, ha incorporato una chitarra Rickenbacker a 12 corde a corpo solido e una Micro-Frets Signature Baritone a 6 corde, dotata di corde di basso a 6 corde a scala corta.
In seguito è passato a un’altra combinazione di 12 corde a corpo solido e 6 corde per basso. Per i tour “Mama” e “Invisible Touch” aveva una chitarra a sei corde e un basso a quattro corde inseriti in un corpo personalizzato
Per il tour del 2007 con i Genesis, Rutherford aveva una chitarra Gibson a dodici corde con un basso Yamaha TRB-4P. Fonte.
Nel 2014, Rutherford ha pubblicato “The Living Years: The First Genesis Memoir”, la sua autobiografia – COMPRALA QUI.

Il chitarrista dei Marillion Steve Rothery, l’ex cantante dei Genesis Ray Wilson e John Hackett sono stati annunciati come ospiti del prossimo spettacolo di Steve Hackett alla Royal Albert Hall di Londra il 23 ottobre.
Ospite speciale anche Amanda Lehmann, che si unirà alla band di Hackett per tutto il tour nel Regno Unito, alla chitarra e alla voce.
Si uniscono alla band in tournée di Hackett che comprende Roger King (tastiere), Nad Sylvan (voce), Jonas Reingold (basso, cori), Rob Townsend (sassofono, flauti, tastiere aggiuntive) e Craig Blundell (batteria).
Una parte dello spettacolo celebra il 50° anniversario del sesto album in studio dei Genesis, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway.

Magnus, che suona tastiere, sintetizzatori, percussioni e canta, ha prodotto il nuovo album e scritto tutta la musica, con Dick Foster, che ha lavorato ai testi.
Steve Hackett, con cui Magnus ha suonato dal 1978 al 1989, è ospite di “A Strange Inheritance”, insieme al polistrumentista Tony Patterson, il chitarrista di Unitopia John Greenwood, il musicista Andy Neve e i cantanti Louise Young e Ginger Bennett.
Entrambi gli album sono stati rimasterizzati per il vinile e sono disponibili come LP 180g Gatefold in edizione nera e colorata.

Bay Of Kings è stato pubblicato lo stesso anno del sesto album in studio di Hackett, Highly Strung. Tuttavia la sua etichetta di allora, Charisma, si rifiutò di pubblicare l’album ritenendolo non commerciale.
Successivamente fu pubblicato sulla Camino Records di Hackett con una copertina diversa.
Momentum , la seconda incursione classica di Hackett, vedeva il fratello di Hackett, John, al flauto ed è stato inizialmente pubblicato su Start Records, prima di essere ristampato da Camino nel 2001.
